House of Innovation

Nike NYC is a new flagship experience that unites the best of Nike global product, style and sport innovation. The House of Innovation 000 is a synchronized customer conversation, a dynamic and active shopping experience in an environment that’s as responsive as digital. This flagship is the evolution of retail adding the joy of sport through experiential environments.

I had the privilege of working for Nike Global Retail Design, managing the architectural design of NIKE NYC, a $65M flagship on 5th Avenue. I collaborated with a studio of Nike designers to develop the form and function of the first House of Innovation. I was a part of every detail, the custom glass windows, the terrazzo tile flooring using Nike Grind, the paint colors, ceiling hierarchy, fixtures and EGD in the Speedshop, men’s floor, women’s floor, Member home and everything in between. I also directed our partners - architect, general contractor, vendors. I communicated with all cross-functional teams, balancing conflicting priorities, aligning teams and presenting progress.
